An extensive extended voyage circling the Land Down Under was terminated days after the death of an older lady who was abandoned by the ship on a isolated island.

Suzanne Rees had been hiking on Lizard Island with shipmates from the vessel, but separated from the excursion for a break. The liner left without her and returned later that day after the ship staff realised the lady was not present.
